From being present for inspections and staying on top of inspectors and contractors, to crawling through the attic or making a hardware run, CJ will do whatever it takes to get the job done. Two words: Good People. That sums it up. Seriously. Cortney and CJ are just genuinely good people, and therefore, you can't go wrong. We engaged the Hobgood Team for both purchase and sale transactions and they always make the process as seamless as possible. For example, when we engaged them for the first time to sell our house in Delaney Park in Orlando, FL, the house sold in no time. They took it upon themselves to "polish up" the house and by the time they got done, I debated just staying in the house. Seriously, after they staged it (which was their idea and at their own cost), I was shocked at how much better the home looked. As if that wasn't enough, when we listed that same property with them, I mentioned to them that I would lay some mulch in the front yard to help the curb appeal. After I picked up the mulch, guess who shows up at my house to help me lay it down? CJ, from The Hobgood Team. They didn't do that because they had to, they didn't do that because I asked (I didn't ask), they did that because they are good people (like I said before). Most recently, a property we listed needed some AC work. Because the property was governed by an HOA, some of the external work required some touch ups to conform to HOA policies. I planned on taking care of that on the weekend. But guess what, I get a text from CJ with a picture of the completed work during the week. CJ said he was bored, so he took care of it himself. Why? Because they are good people. On another listing for which I engaged the Hobgood Team, the property needed some electrical work completed per the inspection. Courtney linked me with one of their many partners who was able to take care of the work in no time and for a good price. Moral of that story is that when you work with good people, they probably know other good people who can help. Thanks CJ and Cortney.

If you want to maximize the value and potential of your home buying or selling experience, you must use The Hobgood Team. Cortney and CJ did an incredible and professional job in every aspect of our listing and selling process. From the initial consultation and research into comps to the staging, photography, videography and droneography, if that’s even a word, to dealing with me, a very neurotic and difficult person to deal with and the eventual buyer (a New Yorker so need I say more?), and every step and point between A to disbursement of funds, they made the process so painless and easy for us. We had a very difficult property to sell, with a mix of great land and some challenging remodeling hurdles, but they presented it and sold it flawlessly and executed the entire negotiations incredibly well. I’m sure buying with them is an equally serendipitous experience. And this is not some gimmick. Trust me.
